Johns Rd, Harewood, Christchurch

Just after 7pm on Monday 26 September, at the intersection of Johns Road, Harewood Road and Russley Road, Christchurch, a woman was knocked from her bicycle by a hit and run driver.

The victim was admitted to Christchurch hospital with serious injuries.

Police are seeking witnesses to the crash and in particular, any information about a 4WD vehicle which left the scene south on Russley Road and a silver car driven by a young male which left the scene east on Harewood Rd.

This young male may unknowingly have been a witness to the crash.
