Kapiti Police locate Leister Caldwell

Kapiti Police have arrested 35 year old Leister Caldwell, who was wanted to arrest for breach of parole board release conditions.

Detective Sergeant James McKay of the Kapiti CIB says Caldwell was arrested without incident with the assistance of the Wellington Armed Offenders Squad (AOS) at a Martin Street address in Waikanae at about 8:30am this morning.

“We’d like to thank members of the public for their assistance in helping us locate Leister Caldwell, who we had been actively seeking over the past three weeks.”

He will appear in the Porirua District Court tomorrow.
