21 year old hunter found safe and well

The 21 year old hunter missing in the Kaimai Ranges overnight has been

found. Search and Rescue located the man near the Kauriatahi Hut just after

1.30pm this afternoon [2 October].

Although tired, hungry, wet and cold the man is otherwise safe and well and

will walk out of the bush under his own steam.
