WELLINGTON CITY

If you're travelling around the city this weekend, remember that in addition to road closures around the Stadium for matches, there will also be road closures in the Courtenay Place area.

The road closures and the anticipated number of people in town may cause some delays so, as for all major events, we recommend you plan your trip in advance, take public transport, and allow plenty of time for getting around the city.

Several roads will be closed to enable the creation of the Courtenay Live Site FANZONE, featuring match screenings and entertainment. This area will be fenced and controlled by security.

Roads in the FANZONE area, and surrounding streets, will be closed from 4.00am Saturday to 6.00am Monday. The closures are to ensure pedestrian safety, and will mean changes to public transport routes and access for residents and businesses. For more information phone (04) 499 4444.
