lights out at intersection due to heavy port traffic

Police advise that the lights at the intersection of the Port of Wellington entrance and the Westpac Stadium entrance are not working.

Because of the high volume of heavy vehicle traffic entering and leaving the port motorists are asked to exercise caution and courtesy to allow a smooth flow of traffic in this area.

It is understood that the lights will not be fixed until later today
