Tauranga Police investigating serious assault

Tauranga Police are investigating a serious assault that is believed to have occurred at a Bellevue, Tauranga, address between 2pm and 3pm yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 5 October).

The officer in charge of the investigation, Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Turner, says a Tauranga man is in a serious but stable condition in Waikato Hospital as a result of the alleged incident.

Detective Senior Sergeant Turner says Police would like to talk to anyone who may have been in the Margaret St area yesterday afternoon.
