Third person arrested for Auckland City assault

Auckland City CIB have arrested a third man in relation to the alleged assault of a 34 year-old man in the Viaduct Basin at about 1:30am this morning.

The third man to be arrested is 31 years old and from Greenhithe. He will be appearing in the Auckland District Court this afternoon charged with assault.

The victim remains in a critical condition in Auckland Hospital.
