Car v pedestrian

Police and other emergency services are attending a car v pedestrian crash in Walmsley Rd, Otahuhu.

The pedestrian is a young woman. She is in a serious condition and has been taken to hospital.

Walmsley Rd is blocked and the Serious Crash Unit has been called out to examine the scene of the crash.

Police urge motorists to avoid Walmsley Rd, Otahuhu, and the surrounding area Saleyards Rd, Favona Road, and Mangere Road.
