WBOP Police seek witnesses to aggravated robbery at chemist

At approximately 2.15 pm on 10 October 2011 an offender entered the Maungatapu Pharmacy on Maungatapu Road, Tauranga.

The offender, who was believed to be wearing a mask and armed with a knife, demanded drugs from staff members in the store.

He was given a quantity of drugs before running from the pharmacy.

The offender was described as a male.

Nobody was hurt during the robbery.

Police are appealing for anybody who witnessed any suspicious persons or vehicles in the area at the time to contact Detective Sergeant Rob LEMOTO at the Tauranga South Police Station.
