People in Auckland, New Plymouth, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill joined about 1,000 other cities in a global non violent protest today.

October 15th represents a united effort for global change to demand a true democracy and to call an end to a situation that

benefits just a few, while ignoring the will of the vast majority and the human and environmental price we all have to pay.

The events planned around the world have been inspired by the Occupy Wall Street protest that began on September 17th.
