Tauranga Harbour Bridge

There has been a motor vehicle crash on Hewletts Rd, Mt Maunganui. The crash involves one car reversing into another. Details are sketchy at this stage but someone is trapped in one of the vehicles. The road is closed. As this means that the Tauranga harbour Bridge is closed until the scene is cleared. Diversisions will be in place at wither end of the bridge. The police will update with more information as it becomes available.
