Drowning

A 42 year male polynesian drowned this afternoon while netting at Port Waikato. His body was recovered but CPR was unable to revive him. His two friends who were netting with him are missing presumed drowned. A large search was mounted involving Eagle, surf club members, family and the public to no avail. Searching will resume at first light tomorrow morning.
