Police investigate arson

Tauranga Police are investigating an arson at an Osprey Drive, Welcome Bay address after a small fire was deliberately lit in the lower level of a dwelling. Police and fire were called to the address at about 10.30pm on Wednesday 26 October. Fortunately the fire did not take hold and was quickly
extinguished.

Enquiries into the incident are continuing. A 19 year old Welcome Bay man is assisting Police with enquiries.
