Car Fire

Emergency Services are currently at the scene of a car fire on State Highway 3 near Hawera in South Taranaki.

Initial reports suggest that the fire was due to an electrical fault. The incident occurred just south east of Hawera town-ship near the bridge over the railway tracks. The road is currently down to one lane.

There are no reports of injuries.
