Care on roads as slips slow traffic

Police are advising motorists to take care if travelling through the Manawatu Gorge today, due to weather-related problems.
There have been a number of reports of minor slips - with dirt and rocks falling onto the road. There is currently heavy rain in the area, adding to the hazardous driving conditions, and Police are recommending motorists delay non-essential travel through the area if possible.
