Bayfair Shopping Centre Announces Customer Service Champion Winner
After weeks of suspense and excitement, Bayfair Shopping Centre is thrilled to announce Kelly Mohring of Showcase Jewellers as the Bayfair Customer Service Champion 2011 winner.
Selected from a group of 10 retail finalists, Kelly Mohring was surprised to be revealed as the 2011 champion, following the nominations phase and independent professional mystery shopper assessments of service delivery.
Miss Mohring says, “I was just happy to get through to the top 10, but to be one of the last two standing and then announced Customer Service Champion winner was totally unexpected. This competition has been a great experience and initiative, it’s nice that Bayfair recognises our efforts and great customer service.”
The professional mystery shopper praised Miss Mohring for her friendly and attentive service. The shopper said the retailer’s product knowledge and ability to showcase suggestions of appropriate items and accessories made for a pleasant overall experience. Miss Mohring even escorted the shopper to the door of Showcase Jewellers to bid a friendly farewell.
During the search for a champion, Bay shoppers were encouraged to share their stories about great customer service at Bayfair and to nominate a specific retail staff member for the award. The response was enthusiastic and the centre received numerous entries about the retail staff at Bayfair.
Bayfair marketing manager Nina Rivett says,” The Customer Service Competition has been a wonderful success and we are delighted to announce Kelly Mohring as the winner. Each finalist is worthy of the title and it was difficult to choose one overall winner.
“This competition has engaged both customers and retailers, providing great communication and support of one another. We hope to continue this initiative in the future.”
Bayfair Shopping Centre was inspired to run the competition so that customers could share their stories of great customer service and help their favourite retail assistant obtain the glory of being crowned a champion.
The Champion’s prize included a trophy, $1,000 Bayfair Gift Card and a double pass to Pirates of the Pacific dinner show thanks to Prime Productions. Each finalist was also presented with a certificate of achievement at the special presentation.
