Op Highland arrests

Operation Highland Floyd Te Tai and Neil Paul arrested after 12 month hunt.
At about 3pm today Neil Kevin PAUL, 29 years, sought in connection with a home invasion in Highland Park on the 10th September 2006 (and breach of parole) was apprehended after Police executed an arrest warrant at a rural Tokoroa address.
Senior Sergeant MALTHUS confirms that Floyd TE TAI, 21 years, who was also sought in relation to this matter handed himself into the Hamilton police a few weeks ago (29 Sept). However, as all persons being sought in connection with this matter are now before the courts, and because of the existence of court suppression orders, further comment in relation to the charges and circumstances surrounding that incident cannot be made.
A 26yr old female, and Tokoroa resident, has also been charged with providing assistance to avoid arrest.
Both will appear in the Tokoroa District Court, Thursday 18 October.
