SH5, between Tirau and Rotorua - Crash

Police and other emergency services are in attendance at a vehicle crash on State Highway 5 where a single vehicle flipped on its side.

All the occupants are out of the car but the car has caught fire and that fire is now spreading to grash and bush around the scene.

One lane of State Highway 5 is closed between Tirau and Rotorua which will cause delays for traffic. Police advise the public to avoid the area if they can.
