Serious Collision

Police and Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious collision involving a motor vehicle and a truck on State Highway 1, Pakakraka.

It is reported two people are trapped in the vehicle.

Serious Crash Unit are in attendance along with CVIU

Diversions are currently in place at SH1 / SH10 for northbound traffic and Old Bay Road / SH1 for southbound traffic.

Police advise motorists to avoid this area if possible in the interim.
