Fatal crash update

Police can confirm that there has been 1 fatality involving a head on crash between 2 cars on State Highway 1 near Waikuku.

One lane is open for southbound traffic and it is hoped to have a lane for north bound traffic open in about 30 minutes.

A further release will be made once next of kin have been advised.
