Gas Leak

Tauranga Police are currently dealing with a major gas leak at the intersection of Mirrielees Road and Cross Road, Tauranga City.

Cordons are in place to prevent public access to the area.

Some businesses have also been evacuated.

The repairs are expected to take over an hour and a half and there will be no public access down Mirrielees Road until they are completed.

Police are asking that the public do not go to the area until the repairs have been completed.
