2012 New Zealand Secondary Schools Trialists Named

Netball New Zealand today announced the 26 girls selected as trialists for the 2012 New Zealand Secondary Schools Netball Team. The trials are to be held in Auckland from the 13th-15th April 2012.
From this trial, 12 players will be chosen to represent the New Zealand Secondary Schools Team in the Trans-Tasman Secondary Schools tournament, a competition that is based in New Zealand and Australia on alternate years, and will be held in Adelaide from the 25th May – 2nd June, 2012.
The trialists also include four players with some prominent sporting heritage - Olivia Coughlin’s grandfather was an All Black (Tom Coughlin), Elisapeta Toeava is All Black Isaia Toeava’s sister, Shekynah Clarke is former All Black Eroni Clarke’s daughter as well as former Silver Fern Sheryl Scanlan’s niece and Jamie Lee Price is Steve Price the former league star’s daughter.
