Threat to aircraft safety

Just after 7pm this evening Wellington Airport Police were advised of a non-specific security threat regarding a flight to Dunedin that had recently departed. Police alerted Airport and Airline authorities. The aircraft landed without incident as scheduled. Investigations into the origin of the threat are continuing and Wellington Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have observed any suspicious behaviour in the vicinity of the Women's toilets at the airport during the late afternoon or early evening.
