Traffic backs up as Aucklanders head home from the Coromandel

This is to advise that traffic is backed up 7 kilometres from Kopu bridge on the Thames township side.

This is due to members of the public travelling back to Auckland from the Coromandel. 

Traffic is at a standstill from SH2 Mangatawhiri to SH25 northbound.

Police urge all drivers to be patient.
