Fatal car crash

Police and other emergency services are in attendance at a fatal car crash on Waiuku Road between Wily Rd and Titi Rd. The crash happened about 0800 am and involves a single car and a single occupant.

The car appears to have drifted off the road and it then hit a totara tree. The driver was flung from the vehicle.

The road is closed while police examine the scene. Diversions are available via Wily Rd, Hill Rd, and Masters Rd.
