Traffic congestion

Hamilton Police report huge traffic conjestion caused by vehicles trying to get to the Boxing Day sales at the the BASE Shopping Centre.

Traffic is backed up onto the Avalon Drive/Tasman Rd area.

Shoppers and motorists should avoid the area as it is grid-locked.

A better solution is to park nearby and walk to the Shops.
