Fatal Crash

<p>At 2.00 am this morning (29/12/2011) police were called to a crash in Woolston, Christchurch. </p> <p>A single, which appears to have been travelling at speed prior to the crash, lost control and collided with lamppost.<br /> <br /> The driver, a 21 year old male, was thrown from the vehicle. He died as a result of the injuries received.<br /> <br /> The female occupant, who was wearing a seat belt, received minor injuries.<br /> <br /> Christchurch Police, together with the Serious Crash Unit, are investigating the cause crash.</p>
