Howick Police are appealing to specialist tradesmen and to persons with links to the industrial and automotive sectors to assist them in locating a number of high value trade items that have been stolen from a warehouse in East Tamaki.

Detective Simon Beal of the Howick Tactical Crime Unit, says an unknown number of offenders jemmied open a side door at the premises of SNAE Limited at 25 Highbrook Drive East Tamaki sometime between 8.00pm on Wednesday 28 December 2011 and 5.15am on Thursday 29 December 2011:

“Tens of thousands of dollars of high value specialist equipment has been stolen. The items include multiple high end air tools, impact wrenches, and an unknown number of socket sets. The tools carry the brand “BAHCO.” This brand is not generally available on the open market,” he said.

“The offender[s] who carried out this burglary knew their targets well. They were professional, coordinated, and meticulous in choosing these specialist trade products.”
