Blenheim - Fatal Crash

At about 12.55am this morning 31/12/2011, a vehicle travelling west on Old Renwick road, near Jacksons road, crashed into a power pole.

Both occupants died at the scene.

As a result of the crash the vehicle burst into flames, Police and Fire services attended the scene.

The ID of the occupants will have to be completed forensically today.
