Fatal Crash

<p>Eketahuna Police are continuing their investigation into the cause of a fatal motor vehicle crash that took place at about 5:10pm on Sunday the 1st of January 2012 on Route 52 Alfredton east of Eketahuna.<br /> <br /> The deceased, a 59yr old female, was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was travelling from Masterton to Alfredton.<br /> <br /> Enquiries to date have established that the vehicle drifted to the right hand side of the road colliding with an embankment.<br /> <br /> The deceased died at the scene.<br /> <br /> Eketahuna Police can be contacted on (06) 3760130.<br /> Released by<br /> Sergeant GLASSEY,<br /> Officer in Charge,<br /> Pahiatua Police.</p>
