Fatal crash

<p>Police Seek Witnesses to Horrific Crash.<br /> <br /> Auckland Police are appealing to the occupants of two vehicles in the vicinity of Carbine Road and South Eastern Highway at approximately 2.50 am this morning the scene of a fatal crash in which a 22 year old man died, to come forward.<br /> <br /> A witness has described seeing a modified silver coloured car driving at speed through this intersection moments before the fatal crash.<br /> <br /> A second vehicle a green early model Toyota Corolla or similar was seen by a witness to stop and uplift two males walking on Carbine Road minutes after the crash.<br /> <br /> Police have arrested a 17 year old male with Unlawfully Getting Into a Motor Vehicle who is presently receiving hospital treatment.<br /> <br /> Police are continuing inquiries to identify the driver of the stolen Subaru.<br /> <br /> Any information to Op Clyde Phone 302 6874 OR Crime Stoppers.</p>
