Courtenay & Cameron St, New Plymouth

At approx 07:15 this morning emergency services attended the scene of a serious crash between two cars.

Initial reports are that a car has crashed into a parked car on the intersection of Courtenay & Cameron St, New Plymouth.

The 57year old male driver of the car has died at the scene. He was the sole occupant and there were no occupants in the parked car.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this stage.
