Firewood causes motorway delays

12:00 - A load of firewood has been dropped in the Northbound lanes of the motorway between Johnsonville and Tawa.

Police are advising motorists to expect delays until the road has been cleared.

The traffic lights on S.H 2 on the Hutt motorway/Haywards Hill Road intersection are not currently working. Police are advising motorists to be patient when travelling this area.
