Police charge four with Mahia Road shooting

Four Manurewa men have today been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting incident in Mahia Road last Sunday night.

They will all appear in the Manukau District Court tomorrow morning.

All four men have been charged with two counts of discharging a firearm with intent and one charge each of unlawful possession of a firearm.

Police say their enquiries are continuing and local frontline staff will be out in force over the weekend patrolling the area giving the community some reassurance following the incident last weekend.
