Police seek witness to assault as man lies in serious condition
A 36 year old male and 25 year old female were arrested on Thursday 25 October and charged with Wounding with Intent to Injure in respect of the assault that occured on the corner of Ferry and Olliviers Roads, Christchurch on Sunday 21 October 2007.
They appeared in the Christchurch District Court on Friday 26 October and were bailed to appear again on the 9th of November.
As a result of further enquiries another 34 year old female was arrested on Saturday 27 October and charged with being a party to Wounding with Intent to Injure and minor drug offences.
A 14 year old youth will also be dealt by the police Youth Aid Section in respect of Receiving stolen property.
The 37 year old victim remains in a serious but stable condition at Christchurch Hospital.
Police are still appealing to any persons that may have witnesssed the assault, or assisted the victim, to come forward.
