Fatal crash near Ashburton

At about 11.55pm Saturday the 4th March Ashburton Police attended the scene of a fatal crash at the intersection of Hamptons Road and Seafield Road east of Ashburton.

Police located one vehicle that left the road at the intersection. One female occupant died at the scene and three others were treated by St John Ambulance.

Ashburton Police assisted by Serious Crash Investigators are continuing their enquiries into the cause of the crash.
