Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board community meetings
* Draft Long-term Plan; * Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board Draft Agreement; and * Alternative Funding for Transport Discussion Document
Auckland Council is seeking feedback on its first Draft Long-term Plan which outlines Council's proposed projects and service levels budgets for the next 10 years, including how these will be funded. Feedback is also being sought on the Draft Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board Agreement which outlines projects the local board is looking to undertake within the discretionary funding it has been allocated. These proposed projects, along with levels of service and the board's advocacy on particular issues, will help deliver on the Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board Plan. Also out for public comment at the moment is the Mayor's Alternative Funding for Transport Discussion Document. You are invited to come to a Maungakiekie-Tamaki Local Board community meeting on these three important documents. At these sessions you can meet local board members, view a (brief!) presentation, take part in a question and answer session, as well as learn how you can have your say.
