Nelson woman's body recovered from mountain

 

Police today recovered the body of a woman from Mt Arthur, near Nelson.

Marjorie Ruth Hesselyn, 56, slipped and fell down a sheer rock face while tramping with five friends about 2pm yesterday. She died as a result of the impact.

Miss Hesselyn, known as Ruth, was described as a very experienced tramper.

The matter has now been referred to the Coroner.
