Murder charges laid in relation to Tauranga incident

Tauranga Police have charged 3 males with murder as a result of an incident in 2011.
Detective Senior Sergeant Greg Turner said the charges relate to a serious assault on Gary KIMURA at his home in Tauranga on 5 October 2011, and his subsequent death in Tauranga Hospital on the 16th November 2011.
Two unemployed males from Tauranga and one from Auckland will appear in the Tauranga District Court on Tuesday 20th March 2012 jointly charged with murder.
A 4th male has been charged with accessory after the fact to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in relation to the same incident and will appear in the Tauranga District Court on the same day.
