Easy Rider Tragedy funeral service details

A combined funeral service is being held at 11am tomorrow at Rugby Park Stadium in Invercargill for the four men who died in the Easy Rider Tragedy.

The immediate families of the men have advised police that media can attend the service for media purposes. A designated place is being put aside for media in the First XV Lounge at the stadium.

While the families have allowed media to attend, it is requested that media show the utmost respect for them at this tragic time.

Media who plan to attend need to send a text to 027 556 1814 or email vivien.pullar@police.govt.nz to advise of their intentions. Media attending need to meet at the entrance to Rugby Southland's main office at the west end of the stadium, Tweed St, at 8.30am (or advise if they intend to arrive later).

Media will need to park on Tweed St in the first instance and there will be an opportunity to drop off gear at this time. Longer term parking is being arranged at the east end at the back of the stadium, off Tweed St.
