Hollywood actor Don Cheadle (Hotel Rwanda, Crash, Ocean's Thirteen) and top New Zealand golfers Lydia Ko and Phil Tataurangi had some unique putting practise this morning ahead of the NZ PGA Pro-Am Championship in Queenstown later this week.

The trio were onboard Air New Zealand's all black A320 flight from Auckland to Queenstown and took part in the airline's 30,000ft In-Flight Putting Challenge.

The challenge is being run to celebrate Air New Zealand's sponsorship of the NZ PGA Pro-Am Championship and involves passengers putting down the aisle of the aircraft to win a range of golfing prizes.

Visit www.theflyingsocialnetwork.com/putting to see in-flight photos and the live leader board. The competition draws to a close today with one lucky passenger set to win a VIP trip for two to watch the final day of the inaugural NZ PGA Pro-Am Championship, including flights, accommodation and a brand new set of custom-fitted Callaway RAZR clubs supplied by Callaway, another tournament sponsor.
