18-month-old killed on street

Police are currently investigating the fatal accident of an 18 month old baby in the township of Wairoa this afternoon.

At about 5.30 pm the todler was run over by a vehicle in a loacl street.

The todler later died at Wairoa Hospital.

Police will not be releasing details of the deceased until next of kin have been advised.
