STRATFORD

Is it ok to be “off your trolley”? Believe it or not, when out in public it is actually illegal, this includes when in licensed premises.

There is nothing wrong with enjoying a good night out and having a few drinks.  We have very good hosts on our licensed premises in the Stratford District, they are fully trained to recognise signs of intoxication.  You will find that when they consider you have had one too many you will be offered food, low or non alcoholic beverages and in some instances a taxi home!.    Not only have your hosts eliminated that nasty hang over the following day but they are doing their duty under the law in providing you with a responsible
drinking environment.

Stratford premises are monitored by Police and the licensing inspector for compliance on intoxication so don’t be offended if they prompt you to slow down!
