The Creative Communities Scheme assessment committee met recently to assess applications. The quality of the applications was of a high standard and the committee distributed $11,000 to five groups.
There are two Creative Communities Scheme funding rounds per year with the next funding round opening on Monday 30 July. Further information on how to apply is available on the Waitaki District Council website.
