Diners surged to the MenuMania.co.nz website looking for places to eat on Wednesday 18th.

Yesterday proved to be the biggest Wednesday MenuMania has ever had, reports Karen Gibson, GM of MenuMania.

Huge interest is being shown in a diverse range of eateries, from the new-ish Roxy Restaurant in downtown Auckland, through to the new Gourmet Burger House nearby.

The eating establishments pulling the greatest numbers are often the newly established places, like Dragonfly in Wellington, Depot in Auckland, and newly re-located Cookai Japanese Restaurant in Christchurch.

Plus long-term faves like Euro Restaurant and the Gengis Khans across Auckland are always big crowd-pullers too.

MenuMania gets over 325,000 different diners a month, looking for places to eat in NZ (Source: Google Analytics 2012).
