Suspected Clan Lab On The North Shore

Police will be in Sylvan Road on the North Shore for the remainder of the day after a suspected clan lab was discovered at a residential address at dawn.

Police went to the address at about 5.30am this morning Wednesday 2 May 2012 where they executed a search warrant at the property.

Members of the AOS secured the premises prior to police entry.

Police identified the presence of chemicals. A specialist Clan lab team is at the scene and a forensic examination is continuing at the address.

A 53 year old male has been arrested on two drug related charges. He’ll be appearing in the North Shore District Court tomorrow.

A street cordon was in place during the police operation but there was minimal disruption to early morning commuters.
