Fatal Motorcycle Crash

At about 12.20pm on Saturday the 5th of May 2012 two motorcycles collided during a race event being held by the Victoria Motor Cycle Club at Manfeild race course.

As a result of the collision a 45 year old male died at the scene and another 53 year old male was taken to Palmerston North hospital with serious leg injuries.

The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Serious Crash Unit.
