Calling CCTV volunteers

The Hutt Safe City Group is on the lookout for volunteers to help operate CCTV cameras covering the Lower Hutt CBD, Naenae, Stokes Valley and Petone. Cameras in Wainuiomata will be added soon.

Volunteers usually operate the cameras in three hour shifts, covering a variety of times and days and are a valuable resource to police.

Excellent training and support is offered to volunteers although it would be helpful to have some computer skills. All volunteers are subject to police vetting.
