Fatal crash

Police and other emergency services are at the scene of a serious single vehicle crash on Lake Rotoaira Rd, also known as SH46, Otukao, Taupo District. The crash happened at 7.30 am.
SH46 is closed between SH1 and SH47 while the crash scene is being examined.
The people mover van rolled with 7 or 8 persons on board. There are 3 fatalities and another is seriously injured.
The Bay of Plenty Serious Crash Unit is investigating the scene.
