Southern Stars Charitable Trust under its programme “Grant-a-Wish” has granted a wish to a young Auckland girl.

Last Tuesday Southern Stars granted a wish to 10 year old Becky Bonaccorsi,  giving her a day at Auckland’s SPCA centre in Mangere.

Becky applied for a wish under the Trust’s programme to spend time at the SPCA as she has a love for animals and one day would like to work with an organisation like the SPCA.

Later in the year Becky will be heading off on the Koru Care New Zealand trip to Los Angeles, where she will be joining 25 other children and their caregivers visiting attractions such as Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm and the Californian Highway Patrol among other attractions.

Southern Stars has been assisting Koru Care NZ with its annual trips for a number of years and this year will be staging the children’s classic Peter Pan on the 28th June at the Logan Campbell Centre to help with the funding required to make this years trip possible.
